What is the effect after obturating the canal with remaining pulp residues? <br>
Amount of pulp residues – there will be no big difference if only the pulp residues are severely infected but if a large amount of pulp residues remained it may cause inflammation. Quality of pulp residues – prognosis will not be good if the pulp residues are bacterially or chemically infected. Conclusion – small amount of pulp residues can be controlled by the initial high pH of OrthoMTA but dentists should try their best in trying to remove the pulp residues as much as possible.
